| The Arai GP-JET/f is
an open face helmet constructed with the
Complex Laminate Construction Shell (CLC)
and ‘'Hyper Ridge'' reinforcement
for more stiffness. Removable earcups
and new ‘'Hyper-T'' visor with integrated,
removable, smoked anti-glare sun shielding
strip. Extensive, adjustable ventilation
ducts for added comfort. The special polystyrene
inner shell combines different densities
for greater comfort and more gradual impact
absorption. Also features a changeable
Nomex fire resistant lining and yellow
Kevlar chinstrap. Perfect for closed cockpit
saloon car racing. The GP JET/f comes
standard with fitted HANS anchor clips.

The new GP-5W comes
without a visor, but with the adjustable
Hyper-T'' peak and removable cheeckpads.
This helmet is the result of the demand
from driver in the touring car classes,
where the added protection of a visor
is not necessary. The GP5W offers a large
aperture and extensive ventilation with
two IC Ducts 2 at the front with the proven
Delta Duct in the back. Anchor points
for the HANS system are already present. |
| The GP-5 PED represents
the result of Arai's pursuit of a comprehensive
package, providing comfort and function.
Constructed of Arai's exclusive ScLc (Super
Complex Laminate Construction) shell technology,
which provides superior impact energy
management properties. Extensive ventilation
with two air intake slots in the chin
area, upper ventilation with 3 intake
scoops in front and two Delta ducts in
the rear. 3 mm thick, 2D visor with F1
aluminium visor system prepared for the
use of tear-offs, mounting pods for the
HANS anchors. Approved fire resistant
lining and yellow Kevlar chin strap material.
The PED kit for better aerodynamic properties
comes uninstalled, kit must be installed. |

The GP-5K has a cLc
(Complex Laminate Construction) outer
shell, with a slightly larger (10 mm)
eyeport opening for among other rally
and prototypes drivers. This kind of racing
does not require all the upper ventilation
of the Gp-5 and therefore the GP-5K is
fitted with a single air intake duct on
the front and a single outlet in the back.3

| The SK-5 is largely
based on the GP-5 model, but is specially
developed for kart use, with a slightly
larger opening aperture as needed in the
fierce kart competition. ClC (Complex

a 3 mm thick, 2D visor with F1 aluminium
visor system prepared for the use of tear-offs.
4-point upper ventilation system, with
large closeable twin intake scoops en
closable Double-Delta2 bridged exhaust
vent. Comfortable, washable lining material
for better ventilation at karting speeds.

The Astro/R is
readily recognizable by the new, sleek,
aerodynamically shaped outer shell.
To establish its place as the leading
helmet in this category, the Astro/R
has a partly replaceable interior. The
ventilation, including the chin vent,
system is updated with deeper moulded
in ducts and the breath deflector of
the Corsair model is used. |
